Large Hermes Travel Suitcase

This large vintage travel case is from the House of Hermes. Its shape reminds us of the bags used during stagecoach trips. It is made of canvas and Barenia leather. The jewelry is in gold metal. Today we would use it as a "decorative" bag. It is carried by hand. It has its zipper, bell and key but the padlock is missing. The metal bar makes possible to lock the bag by adding a padlock at the end. This travel bag is lined with fabric. It is in good condition, marks are visible on the leather as well as on the  lining inside.
